Imagined and engineered in house, the HELIX KIT is a CNC cut aluminum attachment upgrade designed to tilt and angle a mounted clip outward while rotating it inward at the same time; hence the name HELIXā¢ļø. This actively keeps the grip of a pistol against the user's body for maximum concealment and comfort.
The Helix effectively performs the job of an attached concealment wing - but without any added width, bulk, or potential contact points during a draw stroke. This Kit includes all of the necessary hardware to attach to our X1 or Gun only holsters that do not accommodate a weapon light and have a 0.6" hole spacing. (Not intended for the Beacon or Ally)
**The Helix is offered in a right hand configuration as well as a left hand configuration. In addition, much like the Mod Wing, we offer an 8 degree and 13 degreeĀ option so that the end user can choose how much standoff they would like when the holster is in the belt line.**
**We have seen that the Helix performs best with the addition of the MOD 4 Clip from Discreet Carry Concepts. This combination eliminates any play between the clip and the mounting surface. The Helix Kit will ship with all of the necessary hardware to accommodate the standard plastic and MOD 4 DCC clips.**
**This is considered a hardware component and as such will fall under a limited warranty. We will warranty theĀ components if they fail under normal use or have aĀ defectĀ related to the function of theĀ components.
